The market experienced a dramatic slowing as interest rates spiked in the beginning of the summer.  But if a property was properly and showed well it still could sell 1st weekend on the market.

Warwick Ave, in Fairfax City was a prefect case in point.  Listed for $519,900 on Thursday and held open Sat and Sunday.  Both open house days had 20+ groups of people through.  By monday we were expecting 3-4 offers but reflective of this fickle market we received only 2.  The property sold for over asking price and closed in a little over 30 days.  Overall a very clean and successful transaction.
